Dear Republican State Representative:

The election of Joe Straus to Speaker of the Texas House was a disaster for conservative values.  This pro-abortion, pro-gambling, pro-illegal-immigration so-called Republican was elected because of 11 Republican traitors who sided with the Democrats to oust a Speaker supported by the majority of Republican members.

Finally, someone has had the courage to challenge Joe Straus, as Leo Berman has announced his candidacy for the Speaker's race.  With likely Republican gains in the House coming this Fall, I am asking you to support Rep. Berman's bid so we can restore conservative leadership.  

Three of the eleven turncoats have already had their political careers terminated by angry voters.  A fourth, Burt Solomons, was nearly defeated by an underfunded, unknown candidate despite having over $1 million in the bank.  Don't risk your political future by supporting a liberal like Joe Straus for Speaker in 2011.
